'Memorialize the Movement'

The Save the Boards to Memorialize the Movement is a campaign aimed at preserving the art and messages displayed on the plywood boards that covered businesses in Minneapolis following the killing of George Floyd in 2020. The campaign was started by a group of community members and artists who believed that the boards, which were covered in art and messages of support for the Black Lives Matter movement, were an important part of the city's history and should be preserved.
