Having recently assumed management of operating the annual and reputable Foundry Photojournalism Workshop, the folks at the VII Foundation asked me to redesign and implement a more organized and coherent replacement for the existing Foundry website. It was important to maintain the archives represented on the existing site, but as the Workshop changes location every year, most of the content was completely rewritten or restructured, as a means of improving clarity and efficiency.
My liaison from VII, Amber Maitland had this to say of our work together:
"We commissioned Nick to redesign a website from the ground up. Working with him remotely was easy and successful. Despite being sent a flurry of instructions and requests in different emails, he stayed organized and on top of the job.
"...as coordinator of the project, I recommend Nick without reservation..."
He was able to juggle our times and deadlines and was extremely responsive. He did not hesitate to pick up the phone and seek immediate clarification when he needed to, which really helped to move our project along.
As coordinator of the project, I recommend Nick without reservation."
